2. About the Opportunity:

The Marketing Coordinator role supports audience acquisition and engagement strategies across the organization's hospitality event portfolio. This position is responsible for executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract and convert industry professionals. The role contributes by optimizing marketing efforts to increase event registrations and enhance the overall attendee experience through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

3. Responsibilities:

  • Support audience acquisition and registration growth through email, social media, partnerships, and digital channels
  • Execute and optimize marketing campaigns with marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Develop messaging for emails, social media, and website content targeting hospitality audiences
  • Maintain and update event websites with accurate, engaging, and conversion-focused content
  • Manage and grow social media presence for assigned brands by creating content that drives engagement
  • Create basic marketing assets using tools like Canva to support campaigns
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance to optimize audience targeting
  • Support audience segmentation and persona development for key attendee groups
  • Collaborate on onsite marketing execution including signage, activations, and sponsor integrations
  • Leverage speaker, sponsor, and partner content to amplify marketing across channels
  • Stay updated on hospitality trends, marketing best practices, and emerging tools including AI

4. Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail; highly organized, proactive, and accountable with solid project management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment managing multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Results-driven mindset with a desire to exceed expectations
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, management, or related field preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, event support, or client/customer-facing roles
  • Experience in ad agency, events, or media industries preferred
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or InDesign
  • Experience with Omeda or similar email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Eloqua, ActiveCampaign)
  • Experience using generative AI and AI-powered marketing tools for campaign ideation, drafting, optimization, and personalization
  • Demonstrated skills in prompt writing and data-driven marketing techniques including A/B testing, segmentation, and reporting with responsible AI practices

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
