Hours: This position could be part time or full time hours. Our aim is to put the right person in the role to get the biggest impact. 

Company: Pogozo. A B2B SaaS start-up the allied health industry. 

Our Journey

Pogozo began in 2023 from a real-world need for better tools in allied health. Our founder, Alex, started her career as a physiotherapist in 2008, using GP booking systems and handwritten notes. After starting her own Physiotherapy clinic she was desperate for some modern-day technology and began using a cloud-based practise management software program. It was great and felt revolutionary.

As her clinic grew—adding team members, services, classes, memberships and automated systems—it became clear that the existing practice management software couldn’t keep up. Like many others in the industry, Alex found herself juggling multiple disconnected programs just to run day-to-day operations. So she decided to build a solution herself, how hard could it be? Turns out, very!

What started as a seven-month project became a two-year build. Launching an initial beta testing phase followed by a soft launch in late 2024, Pogozo is a couple of months away from being the product Alex always envisioned. We’re a purpose-driven team, committed to evolving with our clients, solving real operational challenges, and helping businesses become more efficient and profitable. The next step in our journey is to bring Pogozo to the business that will benefit the most. 

About the role 

Pogozo is ready to make its mark in the industry and spend the second half of 2025 (and beyond!) in a growth boom. 

We’re looking for an ambitious and versatile Growth Marketing Manager to be a key leader in Pogozo’s growth. If you’re a Marketing Generalist aka a “Jack or Jill of all trades” marketer who thrives in a startup environment, this is your chance to make a real impact. 

As our Growth Marketing Manager you’ll be an ideas person, a strategic thinker, planner, problem-solver and builder. And there is a lot to build. You’ll take control of both the strategy and execution of growth initiatives playing a critical role in supporting key business objectives.

Also, we think it is important to note that this is not a sales role. The job of our marketing team is to connect our future customers with our sales team and support our businesses to make the most out of Pogozo.

As Pogozo grows, this role will grow and develop too. While the current focus is on customer acquisition and strategic growth, the scope may evolve based on business needs and your strengths. There are growth opportunities to take on bigger leadership roles including building the Pogozo marketing team. We like to think thats all part of the fun!

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop strategies for building, growing and converting sign ups and subscriptions 
  • Develop and implement product launch strategies for go-to market and new feature launches to drive awareness, engagement and adoption
  • Develop onboarding and nurture journeys that guide users to value and encourage product-led self discovery
  • Write and edit content across formats including articles, guides, landing pages, newsletters, emails, case studies and social media. Use AI tools (where it makes sense!) to improve content efficiency and output.
  • Monitor event and campaign timelines, resources and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Build and manage partnerships that support customer acquisition goals, working closely with external persons and brands to create joint initiatives and offers.
  • Measure performance to identify effectiveness and impact of marketing strategies and initiatives and use insights to improve outcomes. Provide structured fortnightly reports on progress, performance, learning insights and next actions.

  • You are versatile with a broad range of skills and have a knack for learning new things fast. 
  • You are a doer. You’re someone who is ready to jump in and get things done and can be incredibly resourceful. You have what it takes to bring your ideas to life, even if it means rolling up your sleeves and doing it yourself.
  • You want to scale fast but smart and efficiently. You like to give anything a go and either fail fast or scale quickly!  
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment. You can think on your feet, manage your own workflow, problem-solve roadblocks, proactively ask questions and take responsibility for the goals you set.
  • You have experience in a growth marketing role in a B2B SaaS or start up environment or product led teams with proven experience in launching products or features and driving meaningful customer adoption.
