About the Company:

Our client, a founder-led beauty business, is looking for a Head of Finance and Operations to join them and take ownership of the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business as they're looking to grow the business. The ideal candidate will be very entrepreneurial, very hands-on, with demonstrable experience in driving growth. They will be motivated to play a key role within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building the finance function by setting up the financial targets and internal controls, developing the budgets and reporting processes.
• Owning the month end reporting
• Partnering with the CEO and CSO to drive business performance and assist with the delivery of strategic initiatives
• Owning relationships with 3rd parties such as suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors globally.
• Ensuring that the business is compliant with corporate governance practices
• Improving efficiency of reporting processes and implementing new accounting systems

The Candidate:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience within a finance and operations in a business within the beauty, fashion or FMCG sector, with a focus on e-commerce
• Experience working, collaborating, and influencing senior stakeholders within a start-up environment
