Job Description:Brand Content Creator & Marketing SpecialistPosition Overview:
Oat Mama is seeking a hands-on, highly creative Brand Content Creator & Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of producing high-quality, on-brand marketing assets. This role requires someone passionate about creating engaging content themselves—designing, photographing, filming, and editing—to support our strategic marketing goals. You will be responsible for executing every aspect of the creative process, from capturing original photography and videography to designing ads, emails, website visuals, and social media content. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who is driven to craft impactful, visually compelling assets independently.
Key Responsibilities:Content Strategy & Planning:
- Attend monthly planning meetings to align on themes, messaging, and goals for ads, emails, social media, and website updates.
- Collaborate with the team to understand promotions, product highlights, seasonal opportunities, and branding updates.
Content Creation & Execution:
- Plan and execute photoshoots and video sessions to capture high-quality product and lifestyle imagery featuring models and products.
- Personally handle all aspects of photography and videography, including setup, shooting, and editing.
- Edit and organize all visual assets for use across campaigns and maintain a backup library of visuals and videos.
Ad Creation:
- Design and produce 12 high-quality ads monthly, including visuals, videos, and copy, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Ensure all ads are visually engaging, aligned with marketing objectives, and optimized for scheduling and tracking.
Email & SMS Campaigns:
- Draft, design, and execute 8–10 email and SMS campaigns monthly, ensuring they include original, visually compelling photography or video content.
- Test campaigns thoroughly for functionality and accuracy before deployment.
Website Updates & Visual Design:
- Personally refresh website visuals, banners, and product images to align with monthly themes and campaigns.
- Execute projects aimed at improving website conversion rates through impactful visual updates.
Social Media Content Creation:
- Create and schedule branded social media posts and stories using your own photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Write captions and maintain a backup repository of engaging visuals and copy for future use.
Ad Data and Analytics:
- Track ad performance metrics, including engagement, clicks, and conversions, to assess effectiveness.
- Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights to refine creative strategies and improve ROI.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in photography, videography, and editing, with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to produce high-quality content independently.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and familiarity with social media scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without direct supervision.
- Experience maintaining consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and website management tools is a plus.
- A proactive, self-sufficient problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on creative work.
This role is for a true doer, not a delegator. You will be directly responsible for creating and executing all visual and marketing content, from concept to completion.
