Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote first

We are working with a well‑established Australian SaaS scale-up to find a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to work on a modern, large‑scale web application used across Australia and internationally.

This is a genuine 50/50 full‑stack role, requiring strong capability and willingness to work end to end across both frontend and backend development in a mature, well structured engineering environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining frontend functionality using modern Angular (v20) and TypeScript
• Developing backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Working with PostgreSQL, ORM and REST‑based integrations
• Understanding of JWT Tokens for autherisation
• Delivering features from requirements through to production
• Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Contributing to a clean, well‑maintained codebase with established best practices

About You

• 4+ years of commercial full‑stack development experience
• Strong modern Angular experience is essential
• Solid JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
• Hands‑on experience with Python, Django and REST APIs (DRF preferred)
• Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Comfortable working across both frontend and backend
• Clear communicator with a learning‑focused mindset
