As a Cryptoeconomics Researcher, you'll have the chance to apply your analytical abilities to study the cryptoeconomic landscape, focusing on areas such as staking risks, Maximal Extractable Value (MEV), and order flow analysis. We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys exploring new challenges, and is keen on contributing to advancing finance and technology. Responsibilities: As a cryptoeconomics researcher, you will participate in research on, for example:

  • Analyzing economics model, incentive structures and financial mechanisms of Ethereum and its protocols.
  • Risks associated with staking, restaking, and other blockchain-specific economic activities.
  • MEV and related opportunities and threats.
  • Flow analysis to understand market behaviors and trends

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to

  • Collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements to blockchain protocols based on research findings.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology, cryptoeconomics, and finance, ensuring that your research is current and relevant.
  • Publish research papers, reports, and blog posts to share findings with the broader community, enhancing the company's thought leadership in the space.

Skills:

  • Foundation in economics, finance, and quantitative analysis, with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and crypto-economics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous research experience in the field of crypto-economics or a related discipline.
  • A portfolio of published research papers or articles on topics related to blockchain, cryptoeconomics, or financial technology.
  • Active participation in blockchain communities and familiarity with the latest discussions and trends in the cryptoeconomics space.
