Senior Business Development Manager

A leading organisation in consumer goods manufacturing

Your Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing sales and marketing activities for the company in the US & Canada, achieving sales targets, and developing new business opportunities. You will also manage distributor assignments, logistics, and product launches, while ensuring alignment with the company's marketing calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets for NA: Volume, Value, and Net contribution Margin.
• Develop new businesses in US & Canada, oversee distribution and operations, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Assign distributors in US & Canada based on geography and category.
• Plan for B2B, trade, product concept development, and brand management.
• Standardize logistics and distribution by coordinating with supply chain and demand teams.
• Launch new products for offline, online, and B2B channels, increasing visibility.
• Explore and suggest ways to maximize top and bottom lines for the company.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years in a Field Sales Management role, Export, General Trading, or FMCG Sales industry.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding export sales targets and achieving business objectives.
• Experience in the US & Canada Market FMCG food industry is a must.
• Experience in handling and onboarding new distributors.
• Go to market experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
