Marketing Associate

Jack is helping a mission-driven mental health tech startup expand its digital footprint and grow an engaged online community. They are seeking a curious and compassionate Marketing Associate who’s passionate about digital content, online engagement, and wellness. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to make an impact through thoughtful communication and community building. You’ll contribute to online discussions, repurpose content, and support brand awareness across social platforms, with a special focus on mental health conversations.

Responsibilities

• Draft thoughtful, on-brand comments and content to participate in relevant Reddit threads and LinkedIn conversations surrounding therapy, mental health, and wellness tech
• Monitor therapist communities on Instagram and Facebook to identify timely discussion topics and engagement opportunities
• Repurpose existing media — such as podcast interviews or short-form videos — into long-form written articles for the company blog
• Spot trends and news in the mental health space to inform future content and campaigns
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand voice and messaging are consistent across platforms and channels

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or community management (internships or freelance work welcome)
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy, nuance, and clarity — especially around sensitive mental health topics
• Familiarity with platforms like Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn from a community or content perspective
• Ability to conduct light research and transform insights into digestible, engaging content
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn through experimentation
• Bonus: Interest or background in psychology, therapy, behavioral health, or wellness
