Description Under the direction of the Research Manager, the Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data using statistical techniques, implementing and maintaining databases, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends from the data, for carrying out assigned research projects and monitoring trends through data analyses. What You'll Do
- Collaborates on research projects; communicates research findings; internally and externally
- Works with Research Manager to identify project topics and associated deliverables (ie. Abstracts, short reports, white papers, manuscripts, etc)
- Performs background research on relevant topics through literature reviews
- Analyzes data utilization tools including, but not limited to SQL, STATA, R, PowerBI, and Excel
- Contributes to the ideation of research related to clinical research, public health, or other health-related areas
- Creates, submits, and presents abstracts and/or presentations to nationally recognized conferences and journals under the guidance of the research manager
- Produces relevant webinars internally and externally on topics related to ImageTrend products or services
- Create and manage dashboards, charts, written content with a clear understanding of background knowledge on industry relevant topics for client facing Clinical & Research Services website or blogs
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Epidemiology, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrated professional work experience, including:
- Analytical skills in STATA.
- Experience writing, submitting, and presenting data (e.g., abstracts or presentations) at conferences.
- Project planning experience and prior knowledge of EMS/prehospital datasets are highly preferred
- Knowledge of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process is a plus
- Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
- Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team orientation
- Ability to work well in collaborative settings
- Excellent organizational skills with an appreciation for critical timelines and the ability to self-motivate
- Clear and substantive speaking, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as required, up to 20%
This role can be performed 100% virtually anywhere in the US while following our Remote Work Policy. Deadline to apply is at least 3 days after the posting date listed. Position Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000 - $90,000 USD + bonus + benefits + perks + community gains.
