Groupe SEB (Tefal) is a major global consumer goods company selling Cookware, Kitchen Electrics and Linen Care to all the major retailers in Australia. Our products are market leading and well-known and found in the majority of households across Australia.
We have an opportunity for an experienced and strategic Territory Account Manager to work in a field sales role in Victoria. Working remotely, you will generate and actively grow sales with our retail partners to exceed the allocated territory budget and to drive sell through of Tefal products.
Retail/Consumer Goods experience is essential.
This role offers a base salary, plus superannuation, quarterly sales commission, annual bonus and either a company car or a car allowance**.Key Responsibilities of the Role:**
- Manage nominated Victorian retail accounts in metropolitan and regional areas. The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi, BSR and others as assigned.
- Bring existing and strong relationships with the key electrical retail stakeholders in the Victorian market to Groupe SEB
- Sell in the Groupe SEB range of products as per core ranging to nominated accounts to achieve budget / targets
- Drive sell through of products in store to create replenishment orders
- Secure best position in store to keep the products prominent
- Represent the company at Trade functions and VIP nights as required
Merchandising:
- Perfect instore Execution to ensure a high standard of Tefal exposure in all stores
- Ensure POS is placed in stores to call out promotional activity and removed at the conclusion of the promotion
- Utilise your relationships to negotiate and hence improve store / shelf positions and extra real estate on the retail floors for Groupe SEB products ie: end caps / bulk stacks / off location displays
- Ensure Groupe SEB products and displays are properly merchandised with POS and correct price ticketing.
Internal Communication
- Provide weekly sales tracking report detailing field activity to the National Field Sales Manager
- Provide instore training on Groupe SEB products and categories with the result to create brand advocates in store
- Provide feedback to the relevant departments of the Groupe SEB business across new products and pricing in the market, competitor activity, retailer news, opportunities and issues.
- Utilise the company reports provided to drive sales and achieve business growth in the assigned territory
Planning
- Work strategically with the key retail partners to build annual business plans that are targeted and deliver growth and review these at regular intervals as agreed
- Plan and build a regular prioritised call cycle that delivers ROI and review as required.
- Be agile and collaborative to deliver KPIs
- Develop and nurture new relationships with retail partners as required
- Be an active member of the Field Sales Team and prepare to meaningfully contribute at fortnightly National Sales Team meetings on your activities / market and opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with your peer group to ensure a one team mentality exist
Skills and Experience
4 years minimum Consumer goods experience, particularly in the Electrical Retail sector.
