Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join team, where you’ll play a key role in optimizing e-commerce processes, managing a cross-functional internal team, and overseeing third-party vendors. This role is split into three primary focuses: 50% working with the e-commerce team on process improvements, 30% managing an internal team handling website analytics, SEO, content, and e-commerce operations, and 20% managing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Team Collaboration & Process Optimization (50% of the role)
- Partner with the e-commerce team to analyze, optimize, and streamline key operational processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for process improvement, driving operational excellence across the e-commerce operations.
- Ensure alignment across teams and departments, ensuring that processes are integrated and deadlines are met.
- Act as the point person for ensuring e-commerce projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Internal Team Management (30% of the role)
- Lead a cross-functional internal team covering website analytics, SEO, content creation, and e-commerce operations.
- Manage the feedback process from the website and ensure all relevant input is captured and integrated into ongoing projects.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Organize and facilitate regular team meetings to track progress, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment on priorities.
- Oversee resource allocation and workflow management to ensure that team goals and deadlines are met.
Third-Party Vendor Management (20% of the role)
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet performance expectations and deliver on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless integration of their services into e-commerce projects, particularly around website development, SEO services, and other e-commerce tools.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external vendors, resolving issues and facilitating smooth communication.
- Ensure third-party vendors are aligned with company standards and deliverables, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in an e-commerce environment.
- Demonstrated experience in process optimization, e-commerce operations, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong vendor management skills with a track record of working with third-party service providers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
