Information Technology Project Manager

Hey, it’s me again and I’m looking for another IT Project Manager.

There was lots of interest in the last role and to save disappointment I’m going to include 2 bits of essential experience my client has asked to see in any successful applications below.

• Previous experience managing a data centre transition (on prem to cloud)
• Previous experience managing an AS400 renewal

These 2 initiatives underpin a modernisation strategy that is being executed on an international scale.

You’ll be tasked with the following:

• Take full responsibility for the project to ensure that deliverables which are in the scope are delivered within agreed cost, time, resource utilization.
• Setup and manage the overall project organisation in alignment with the project governance framework
• Ensure that project controls for costs, resources, changes, risks and issues are in place.
• Lead communication and manage expectations of the project stakeholders
• Provide expertise and guidance for project delivery and motivate teams to meet their objectives
• Plan and monitor the project progress and resource consumption of the project against the base- lined project plan

The role itself is predominantly remote but there will be a need to travel to Europe once or twice for a couple of days in the course of what will be an initial 3 month engagement (all expenses covered) but there is a high chance of extension (up to 18 months).

Rate is £510 per day outside IR35 and the project kicks off in October.
