We are seeking a creative and commercially driven Brand Marketing Executive to join our team and to help bring our dermatological skincare brands to life across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of brand marketing strategies across both our B2B and D2C channels. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for skincare, dermatological ingredients and science, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel required for meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities 

This dynamic role offers a comprehensive overview of multiple areas within the company. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager to deliver & implement campaign strategies across our full brand portfolio.  

The successful candidate will be an essential member of the marketing team, collaborating in a friendly and supportive environment. You will work closely with the wider marketing and design team, the dedicated AesthetiCare commercial team, the broader commercial and operations group, our partner skin clinics across the UK, key opinion leaders (KOL’s), external creative and PR agencies and our colleagues at Cantabria Labs in Spain. 

This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing 

Joining Ferndale Pharma as a Brand Marketing Executive is an excellent opportunity for someone with at 1-2 years of marketing experience, a passion for the skincare industry, and a proven track record of success. This role offers the chance to showcase and develop your marketing skills in both B2B and D2C sectors, providing the freedom and support needed to excel. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Brand Campaign Support: Assist in the development and implementation of brand marketing plans and their implementation across the marketing mix channels. 
  • Supporting successful brand and hero focused campaigns in line with the Brand Marketing Calendar. 
  • Assist in the management & creation of brand assets, ensuring brand guidelines are applied consistently 
  • Market Research: Contributing market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis that shape campaign decisions and strategy. 
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support in the planning and development of engaging content for various channels, including social, CRM, website and retail partners. 
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics using our dashboard software, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, external agencies, KOL’s and customer service teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and execution across all touchpoints. 
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of brand events, trade shows, and other promotional activities. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a marketing, business, or life science subject. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or brand-focused role. 
  • Experience working with and a passion for skin and skincare. While experience in the professional skincare sector is preferred, it is not essential. 
  • Proven and demonstrable success of campaign planning & execution. 
  • Proven ability to understand professional and consumer customer needs. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
