SAP Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive SAP end-to-end solutions
• Develop and enhance internal and external processes to improve software delivery quality and efficiency
• Establish strategies for ongoing delivery risk management
• Provide technical leadership to uphold strong and scalable SAP architectures
• Translate the business benefits of SAP solutions to clients and align them with their objectives
• Coordinate customer proposal development and statements of work preparation
• Ensure customer project delivery meets defined processes and quality standards
• Manage client expectations and resolve issues to sustain positive relationships
• Collect feedback from key business users, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and lead their execution
• Collaborate with Project Management to analyze, design, build, test, and deploy solutions on schedule
• Prepare project estimations and formulate detailed project plans
• Govern delivery management and production processes
• Serve as the primary contact for all delivery matters including escalations and ramp-downs
• Track and enhance delivery productivity while managing timelines and dependencies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience managing SAP services or projects as a Manager or Team Leader
• Proven expertise with SAP solution support tools and methodologies including SAP Solution Manager and SAP Activate for over 3 years
• At least 3 years in Service Delivery Management within Cloud and on-premise environments
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, ITSM, ITILv3, Agile methodologies, and related development tools
• Experience establishing service projects in SAP solutions
• Capability to lead and manage teams of 10 or more, resolving personnel issues effectively
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills within SAP environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions
• High resilience under pressure
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ABAP dictionary and SAP Business Suite data models
• Skill in identifying solution gaps and proposing closure strategies
• Competence in demonstrating SAP features and innovations customized to client needs
• German language skills at B1 level or above for client communication
