Finance Officer
Part-time (25 hours) - Remote$40 to $60 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented, knowledgeable and experienced Financial Officer to join our team.
As Financial Officer, you will be reporting to and supporting the Head of Finance to undertake financial monitoring, management and reporting functions required to ensure effective operation of the Company.
This role is imperative to ensuring timely and accurate financial operations whilst upholding compliance requirements.
The Role
· Actively implement and align financial management practices with the strategic direction
· Complete day-to-day finances (accounts payable/ receivable, payroll, end of month processing, reconciliations, cashflow tracking, purchasing, payment claims, PAYG, Super and BAS preparation).
· Resolve problems and assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of financial services.
· Undertake quality assurance including systems security access, master data, testing and analysis to maintain integrity, efficiency, and compliance requirements.
· Provide advice on a range of financial matters
· Documentation of day-to-day financial activities
· Assisting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
Ideal Candidate – Skills, Attributes, Experience & Qualifications
· A Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, Business or Business Administration highly regarded.
· Proven capability to perform the Finance tasks and responsibilities outlined above.
· Minimum requirement is a Certificate IV Accounting and Bookkeeping
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
· Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and practices for financial management
· Proficiency in XERO and Microsoft Office software
· Experience with HubSpot is desired
· Ability to travel to attend business meetings and events (when required).
· Ability to work effectively in a remote working environment
· Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy

Successful applicants will need a dedicated WFH/office setup.
Short listed candidates will be subject to a short interview and screening through an online Teams meeting. Applicants may be required to complete a small test task and a second interview with the management team.
