Digital Creative Designer (Freelance)

Freelance Digital Creative Designer (Remote) Brand: DEAU Location: Remote Type: Freelance / Project-Based (with potential for ongoing work) About DEAU: DEAU is a luxury skincare brand crafted in Japan, made with precision and intention for skin of color. We create smart, multitasking skincare with high-performance textures and clean, minimal design. Inspired by the pulse of modern Tokyo and grounded in deep purpose, DEAU blends bold aesthetics with advanced skincare science. What You’ll Do: • Design visually stunning campaign graphics and promotional materials for product launches, key moments, and brand storytelling. • Create on-brand content for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest— including story designs, carousel posts, short-form covers, and visuals for reels. • Develop digital assets for our website (banners, product pages, landing pages, etc.). • Concept and execute email marketing visuals, GIFs, and templates that align with brand voice and performance goals. • Assist in art direction, creative ideation, and moodboard development for upcoming campaigns. • Support design of PDFs, media kits, and presentation decks for press, retail, or investors. • Style or mock up product visuals, flat lays, and packaging graphics (experience with Midjourney/AI tools a plus). What We’re Looking For: • A strong portfolio showcasing editorial, elevated, minimal-but-bold design with a great eye for color, type, and balance. • Experience designing for beauty, fashion, or luxury lifestyle brands (bonus if you’ve worked with early-stage brands). • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma (Midjourney is a bonus). • A sharp attention to detail and an understanding of how design translates across digital formats. • Strong communication and time-management skills, this is a freelance role, but we love team energy. Bonus Points If You: • Are passionate about beauty, skincare, and storytelling that speaks to underrepresented tones and textures. • Have a motion design or video editing skillset (Reels, animation, or GIFs).
