Position: Research Expert for Frontier Open Questions (STEM) Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $80 to $90 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible project based engagement Role Responsibilities

• Identify high impact open research questions within Chemistry, Applied Physics, or Materials Science and Engineering.
• Propose questions where breakthroughs would be transformative and progress is plausible within a decade.
• Build structured knowledge bases including textbooks, seminal papers, datasets, and recent advances.
• Organize curated reading lists in a pedagogically ordered sequence from foundations to frontier.
• Provide expert commentary on why each source and approach is critical.

Requirements

• PhD candidate or PostDoc from a top tier institution in a relevant STEM field.
• Deep expertise in Chemistry, Applied Physics, or Materials Science and Engineering.
• Strong judgment about research significance, tractability, and quality.
• Ability to synthesize large bodies of literature into clear learning paths.
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.
