What We Are Looking For Our team is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. You will play a key role collaborating with other team members to create new customers’ experiences, translate them into appealing and tangible concepts and build visually engaging communications to present our recommendations. This position — with the rest of the group — is focused on defining and executing compelling strategy + experience design. You will play a key role in shaping transformational visions and digital concepts that strategically accelerate our clients’ business. The ideal candidate is a detailed oriented and creative visual designer who leverages various tools and media to support our storytelling when defining our customers’ behaviors, their journey and our customer experience recommendations. What You Will Do

• Conceptualize and Create Designs: Develop visual concepts based on project requirements, including presentations, storyboards, concept sketches, renderings, and illustration.
• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Work closely with clients, internal strategists and researchers to understand their needs and ensure new design concepts and presentations meet their expectations.
• Use Design Software: Utilize design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and refine designs.
• Revise and Improve Designs: Make revisions based on client feedback and ensure final designs are communicative, visually appealing, and on-brand.
• Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all materials.
• Stay Updated with Trends: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and effective design solutions.
• Proficiency in sketching, publishing layout, data visualization, and visual design.
• Prior experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience leading client engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Figma.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design. Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communications and storytelling skills, with the ability to transform complex and extensive insights into appealing and simple visuals
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative, problem-solving mindset and a passion for driving innovation in customer experiences.
• A self-starter, eager to chase down compelling visions and inspiring storylines

Salary & Benefits Applications will be accepted until 12/31/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
