Role Description

This is a fractional role (hours flexible / to be discussed) for an experienced startup recruiter working closely with the CoffeeSpace team, with the potential to expand depending on how the collaboration evolves.

Our platform surfaces high-signal candidates for early-stage startups. In this role, you’ll build relationships with those candidates, guide them through hiring funnels, and help founders close great hires.

You’ll run candidate qualification conversations, manage relationships across active searches, and support offer discussions with both candidates and founders.

You’ll also collaborate closely with the CoffeeSpace team to translate real recruiting instincts into systems and workflows that improve how our platform operates, helping us better understand the signals and judgment great recruiters use when evaluating and closing candidates.

Qualifications

You’re an exceptional recruiter who has run startup hiring searches end-to-end, particularly for US-based roles, guiding candidates through complex hiring funnels and successfully closing hires.

• Experience managing recruiting processes from sourcing through offer close, including navigating messy or evolving hiring funnels

• Strong ability to build trust with candidates and founders and influence decisions throughout the hiring process

• Naturally strong communicator who enjoys understanding candidate motivations and offer dynamics

• Excited about working with a fast-moving startup rethinking how recruiting works with AI

• Interested in helping translate real-world recruiting instincts into principles and workflows our system can learn from

Experience recruiting for early-stage startups, US-based technical or GTM roles, or working in a recruiting agency is a plus.
