Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, and possess a keen ability to interpret complex financial reports. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting decision-making, identifying trends, and driving financial strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and improve performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and forecasts for budgeting, financial planning, and strategic planning.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual financials, and propose corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in evaluating financial results and suggesting improvements to operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting, operations, sales) to gather financial data and align financial goals.
• Prepare financial presentations for executives, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in financial regulations that may affect financial forecasting and planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization and advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, macros).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with remote teams or in a remote capacity.
• Certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of financial software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
