We are seeking a Workday Specialist with strong data management skills and foundational Workday experience to support both ongoing implementation activities and day-to-day production operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing data conversion tasks, coordinating with functional teams, and performing essential support activities such as EIB loads and report development. This role will be central to ensuring smooth data readiness for the new Workday tenant while maintaining stability in the current environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Conversion for Workday Implementation
- Support end-to-end data preparation activities for the Workday-to-Workday divestiture implementation.
- Extract, cleanse, validate, and transform data from the legacy Workday tenant.
- Prepare data mapping documents and assist with conversion workbooks.
- Build and execute EIBs and support additional load methods as required by implementation workstreams.
- Conduct data reconciliation, identify gaps, and resolve data quality issues.
- Partner with functional leads and implementation partners to ensure data readiness for key milestones (Unit Testing, SIT, Parallel Testing, UAT).
- Production Support – Current Workday Environment
- Provide day-to-day support for existing Workday HCM and related modules.
- Respond to data fixes, mass updates, and recurring maintenance activities.
- Perform recurring and ad-hoc EIB loads in a controlled and auditable manner.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports.
- Troubleshoot basic configuration and data issues and escalate as needed.
- Assist HR/Payroll teams with audit files, compliance reporting, and year-end activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday (HCM, Core HR, or cross-functional areas).
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures and business object models.
- Proficiency with EIBs (Outbound/Inbound), CSV templates, and mass data update processes.
- Experience preparing and manipulating large datasets (Excel, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, PowerQuery preferred).
- Ability to run, troubleshoot, and build Workday reports (advanced report writing preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data quality.
- Ability to work in fast-paced implementation environments with shifting priorities.
