Research Analyst (DeFi) - UK - Blockchain - Fully Remote

We are working with an innovative investment firm focused on decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain technologies. They are looking for a Research Analyst (DeFi) to join their mission. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise to analyse and identify opportunities within the DeFi space, using research and data-driven insights to support their investment strategies. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects with data driven insights.

This is a fully remote working role from anywhere in the U.K.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed research and analysis across various crypto sectors, with a strong emphasis on DeFi.
• Create comprehensive reports and trend analyses designed for both experienced investors and beginners in the crypto space.
• Develop and maintain automated tools for portfolio management, including monitoring, performance tracking, rebalancing, DeFi protocol interactions, and real-time risk and yield detection systems.
• Work closely with the marketing and tech teams to boost the reach and impact of your research.
• Keep up to date with the latest crypto market developments to ensure your reports remain relevant and accurate.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience in market research or a related field, ideally within a crypto venture capital environment.
• Experience coding for blockchain applications using languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and transform it into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear and compelling research content.
• In-depth understanding of tokenomics, blockchain technology, and crypto markets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
