We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs to support Sub-Region Europe (SRE), which includes the Nordics, Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands, and CEEG (Central, Eastern Europe and Greece), a total of 22 diverse markets with a population of nearly 200 million people. The position’s focus will include Patient Advocacy, Communication, and Government Affairs/Policy. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Affairs SRE, this role will play a critical part in executing the corporate affairs strategy to strengthen BeOne’s presence, reputation, and stakeholder engagement in these markets and the Region as a whole. Approximately a third of the role will focus on the Nordic countries, involving close collaboration and alignment within the Nordic leadership team and the Country Manager. The position is ideally based in Sweden or Denmark and will require project-based travel. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of the corporate affairs strategy across the Sub-Region Europe with special focus on the Nordic countries in alignment with regional business priorities, corporate positioning, and market-specific needs.
  • Monitor and analyze healthcare policy developments, support engagements with national and regional health authorities, in close alignment with Global Policy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including patient organizations, policymakers, industry associations, and key media.
  • Support the development and implementation of stakeholder-centric messaging, external and internal communication tactics that reinforce BeOne’s commitment to external stakeholders and employees.
  • Work closely with local country teams to ensure that measurable high-ROI, CA activities are planned and implemented according to agreed plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive insights driven briefing materials, stakeholder maps, and issue analyses to support internal decision-making and external interactions.
  • Support CA work with external provider management, i.e., PR and policy agencies, media trainers, etc.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, public health, public policy, communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech corporate affairs, public affairs, policy, or communications (or 5+ years experience with Master’s degree).
  • Solid understanding of European and Nordic healthcare systems and policy landscapes, preferably across multiple markets in the region
  • Strong interest in oncology and hematology and a passion for patient-centered healthcare
  • Proven ability to collaborate in matrixed, cross-functional environments and contribute to strategy execution
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and Danish or Swedish; additional Nordic or European languages are a plus
  • Ability to travel within the region, as needed
