About Auxilius
Auxilius is a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B SaaS company transforming how innovative biotechs operate. We help sponsors streamline clinical and operational processes to bring life-saving drugs to market faster and more efficiently. While our product looks like software, we provide clarity. Our data, context, and frameworks enable clients to make better operational decisions and achieve trial outcomes dynamically and cost-effectively.
About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Analyst to join our Operations team. You’ll work on a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional team alongside Clinical, Product, and Client Success teams.
The ideal candidate is familiar with clinical trials (protocols, protocol amendments, site contracts) and is analytical, process-oriented, and thrives in dynamic environments. You’ll help biotechs optimize workflows, ensure compliance, and maximize value from our platform.
Why This Role Matters:
- You will ensure accurate and actionable clinical and operational data for clients
- Your insights will guide product improvements and client success strategies
Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration & Onboarding
- Support accounting workflows by configuring clinical data in the Auxilius platform (e.g., CTA-driven costs leveraging EDC)
- Support client onboarding, enablement, and training focused on clinical cost tracking and budgeting
Data Quality & Analysis
- Perform QA/QC audits of clinical trial financial data to ensure accuracy and alignment with trial activity
- Analyze discrepancies and identify root causes across clinical and financial data
Client Support & Communication
- Investigate and resolve client issues related to clinical accounting data
- Clearly communicate findings, corrections, and outcomes to clients
Product & Process Improvement
- Support product testing for clinical accounting features
- Translate client feedback and workflow gaps into actionable product roadmap input
Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with client-specific controls, policies, and clinical accounting requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or related field
- 2+ years in clinical operations, biotech, or related fields (startup experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel; familiarity with clinical or operational software a plus
- Detail-oriented with a process-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, positive attitude with a sense of humor
We care way more about attitude than whether you're a perfect fit. If you're interested in this role at Auxilius but aren't sure if you meet all the criteria, you should still apply - we'd love to open a conversation.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 6–12 months, success means clinical accounting workflows are clearly defined and consistently used, trial-level financial data is accurate and compliant, client issues are resolved quickly, and insights from clinical workflows are feeding directly into product and process improvements.
What We Offer
We offer premium healthcare, with access to modern health partners like One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, and Teladoc, plus a Flexible Spending Account. Beyond healthcare, we support your future with a 401(k) that matches 100% of the first 1% you contribute and 50% of the next 5%, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, and 24/7 well-being resources through Health Advocate. We know the best work comes from people who are recharged, so we offer unlimited PTO so you can take the time you need, when you need it.
