We are looking for a HR Assistant who can manage our people operations and be a trusted partner to our stakeholders. This position is an Individual contributor role reporting to the Head of People & Culture. What You'll Do Your general missions:
- Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit meetings, organizing equipment returns, and ensuring the completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Maintain and update employee records in BambooHR and the Drive to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure proper documentation of all people-related transactions, including promotions, internal mobility, and terminations.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, including health insurance, days-off allowance.
- Assist in the coordination of performance management processes, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture, including organizing company events and team-building activities.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling interview meetings, handling confidential documents, and preparing people-related materials for meetings.
- Assist in preparing and distributing internal communications related to people policies and initiatives.
- Manage the office operations: liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services.
- Maintain the filing, sharing and archives systems on both GDrive and Basecamp.
What You Bring
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources, administration, or people operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience using an HRIS (Human Resources Information System); BambooHR is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- You're a french speaker, preferably based in Ivory Coast ( Côte d'Ivoire) with a solid level of English.
