We are supporting a global provider of intelligent logistics and warehouse automation systems in their search for a Business Development Manager for Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company renowned for delivering complex intralogistics and automation projects across international markets.
The successful candidate will lead commercial growth across the EU, working with logistics operators, warehouse integrators, and automation partners. You will act as the bridge between a highly technical manufacturing HQ and clients seeking advanced material handling solutions.
This position can be worked remotely from any European location. Frequent travel across Europe will be required.
This role requires a proven background in sales and new business development. You must have strong closing skills and an existing network of contacts you can leverage for new business across industries such as food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce fulfilment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the EU in the warehouse automation sector.
- Independently build, manage, and expand the client portfolio and sales channels.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and key market developments.
- Lead sales negotiations and close high-value deals with a consultative approach.
- Collaborate with engineering teams at HQ to align technical solutions with client needs.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored intralogistics proposals.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and client meetings across Europe.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on all sales activities.
- Act as a cultural and communication bridge between the European market and HQ.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve go-to-market strategy and client engagement.
- RequirementsProven track record in business development within warehouse automation, logistics, or material handling.
- Existing network of clients and business contacts.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to close deals independently.
- Previous sales and new business development experience within the logistics or 3PL sector.
- Confident in bridging technical communication between multilingual teams.
- Willing to travel across Europe for sales and business development purposes.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively across international time zones.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
- Fluency in English and other European languages is required.
