AI Jobs is hiring for one of the global players in the Artificial Intelligence research industry, seeking an experienced Competitive Math Expert to collaborate on a pioneering project that advances the mathematical reasoning capabilities of next-generation AI systems.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your deep mathematical knowledge to help shape AI models capable of tackling complex competition-level problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute mathematical expertise to the design, testing, and evaluation of AI reasoning and solutions.
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, rigor, and logical coherence across advanced problem sets.
• Provide structured feedback on reasoning depth, clarity, and solution approach.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine model performance and mathematical reasoning.

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong background in competitive mathematics (AMC, AIME, USAMO, IMO, or Putnam-level experience preferred).
• Expertise across algebra, combinatorics, number theory, and geometry.
• Exceptional logical reasoning and written communication skills.
• Educational background in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (high school to graduate level considered).
• Candidates must be based in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.

Project Details

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Commitment: Part-time (20+ hours/week)
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours

Compensation & Contract

• Rate: $80/hour (range: $50–$100/hour)
• Type: Independent Contractor
