Role Description

AFX Student Exchange is seeking a contractor to help us secure accreditation/registration across Australia. We are already registered in Victoria and have an existing documentation base. The contractor will update and reuse current documentation (not starting from scratch), finalise and submit Queensland (already started) as the first priority, then submit NSW, and continue sequentially to achieve all states/territories accredited by 31 December 2026.

Must have

• Proven experience (3–7+ years) in compliance / governance / quality systems / regulated submissions (any regulated sector is fine).
• Demonstrated track record preparing registration/accreditation/licensing applications (compile forms + evidence packs + respond to regulator questions).
• Strong capability in policy/SOP editing and document control (versioning, master registers, folder structures, change logs).
• Ability to create practical training materials (playbook, checklists, short course/slides) and run a team training session.
• Excellent written English, attention to detail, and deadline/project management (able to deliver QLD fast).

Highly desirable

• Experience in education, youth programs, international education, or student services compliance.
• Familiarity with child safety / safeguarding compliance environments (even if not student exchange).
• Experience working with state-based regulators / multi-jurisdiction requirements.
• Experience building “audit-ready” systems: internal checklists, file audits, evidence mapping.

Priorities & deadlines

• QLD (priority #1): application already underway — must be submitted within 1 month (max)
• NSW (priority #2):submit within 3 months
• All remaining states/territories: sequence planned to complete by 31 Dec 2026

What you’ll do

• Review and lightly update AFX’s existing VIC documentation pack
• Compile and submit the QLD accreditation pack + manage follow-ups
• Compile and submit NSW next, then other states/territories
• Maintain a tracker (requirements, evidence list, deadlines, correspondence)
• Create an AFX Accreditation Playbook + deliver a short team training course (slides/checklists + live session)
