Japanese / English Project Manager (Remote) -Automation Manufacturer (36411)

An international industrial automation manufacturer is looking for a Japanese / EnglishProject Manager (Remote) to join their facility in the Dayton, OH area. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in industrial machinery. This is a full-time, direct-hire position.

Japanese / EnglishProject Manager Project Manager (Remote) Responsibilities:

• Define project goals and deliverables, and tasks and ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements and timeline
• Conduct post-project evaluation and assess the result of successful project elements
• Make sure that projects adhere to quality standards and budget
• Implement and manage change and monitor project progress
• Communicate with the engineering team closely and engage in meetings with customers and understand customers’ needs
• Travel and visit onsite at client facilities to understand clients and end user needs throughout North America and Japan
• Support of new business model of data and products
• Other duties for new business expansion for the future (next 3-5 years)
• Other duties as assigned

Japanese / EnglishProject Manager Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant work experience
• Must be able to speak, read and write in Japanese at a business level
• 2+ years’ working experience in the manufacturing environment is preferred
• Able to travel up to 70% of the time
• Willing to learn software operations, such as Leica Laser Tracker
• Excellent communication skills in written / verbal English
• This position will not support visa sponsorship or relocation expenses
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
